REVIEW BEFORE YOU RETRY
Window Peeper AI troubleshooting: six problems and fixes
A face that drifts, a curtain that closes early or a camera that cuts can spoil the joke. Identify what failed before you spend credits on another take.

Why does my Window Peeper video look wrong?
Change the instruction that failed before spending on another take.
| What went wrong | What to change |
|---|---|
| The face stops looking like the reference | Start with one sharp, evenly lit portrait. Ask for consistent facial features throughout; simplify the camera move before trying another paid run. |
| The window is hard to find | Specify one dominant warm window and a dim surrounding facade. A few faint background lights are less important than keeping the subject readable. |
| The curtain closes before the stare | Separate the pause from the closing action in the timing instructions. Put the curtain movement only in the final beat. |
| The camera cuts or jumps forward | Request one exterior camera move with no cuts or sudden crop. Reduce competing actions and check the chosen model's duration controls. |
| Letters or a logo appear on the packaging | Use unmarked packaging and ask for no lettering. For an ad, add the real logo later in an editor rather than relying on generated text. |
| A photo is refused or a run fails | Check the provider's photo rules and task status. Use a consenting adult or your own pet; do not bypass a refusal. Confirm any charge or refund policy before retrying. |
These are review suggestions, not tested guarantees. On this site the scene prompt is fixed: you can change the photo, quality or format. For custom timing or wording, copy our original prompt into a compatible external workflow. A visually disappointing completed video is different from a failed job; review the refund policy before retrying.
Check job status before another attempt
- Open My Videos while signed into the same account. A queued or processing job may still finish; leaving the page does not cancel it.
- If a request times out, check that list before creating another request. Repeating the original request reference prevents a duplicate reservation; a new attempt can spend credits.
- A failed or unconfirmed job returns its reserved credits. A completed video whose appearance you dislike is not automatically a failed job. See the refund policy for unused packs and contact support with the private job reference.
What can I change here?
Use a clearer permitted photo, choose Standard 480p (50 credits) or HD 720p (100 credits), and select 9:16 or 16:9. Higher resolution does not guarantee better likeness or timing. The generator's scene instructions are fixed; custom shot wording belongs in the editable prompt for an external workflow.
When to stop and ask for help
Do not bypass a photo refusal or repeatedly pay for the same unresolved issue. Never send a password, identity document or card details to support. Contact support@windowpeeper.site with the job reference and a short description. Use the photo checklist before returning to the generator.
